THE NEW DYNASTY
EPISODE: THE VILLAINESS // STORY
Though the Coalition has finally brought an end to the War of Light and Darkness that plagued the entire multiverse, the struggle still remains far from over, for now, a new threat has emerged from the darkest edges of the Solar System to challenge the Last City.
After many years of remaining dormant since the unmaking of the Endless Night long ago, the Athenaeum Rift makes a violent insurgence, spreading its infection across timelines, and Hive dwelling on Earth and Luna, birthed by the Hive Prince Crota and his followers so long ago, have made themselves known once again, under the leadership of a new warmonger: Voldor, the firstborn son of Xivu Arath and War Monarch, of the infamous Darksteel Brood. Under his flaming sword and iron fist, the hordes of shrieking monsters and corrupted heroes have banded together on Earth, attempting to fulfill his mother's horrifying mission of subjugating every universe to the will of the Sword Logic.
In the hopes of preventing this coming threat from rising, the Vanguard and Aisha have called upon the Guardians to venture into the wretched dimensions of the Rift in the hopes of bringing down this dark enemy.

An Incursion spreads across the stars, and from within its shimmering confines, a mysterious gateway materializes and falls to the surface of Earth. Travel to the dystopian universe within it and begin your journey into the unknown.

ENDLESS VENGEANCE
EPISODE: THE VILLAINESS // ACTIVITIES
Monolith shrines are going across the Solar System, where in their presences, the Oppressor Moons and their heralds begin to emerge from their dimensions with abilities to feed on the emotions, fears, and powers of the living and dead from our universe. If they are successful, Voldor's armies will be unstoppable. Immaru has felt the effect of this disturbance and requested worldwide assistance in culling the shrines. You must destroy their paraversal tethers and put the plagued wretches out of their misery before he can claim their souls.
INCOMING TRANSMISSION...REPLICATE. ELIMINATE. IMMUNIZE.
Garanndolls have deployed to multiple destinations to infiltrate Oppressor fortresses, bypass advanced defense systems, and cull legions of the Darksteel Brood. Your security clearance has been granted and your Tactical Squad awaits, Guardian.

Venture into recently activated Saturn wells, encounter a Hadium augmentation facility, then break through the crust of the planet to discover a recently-erected Hive fortress below.

Inside the festering summit of the abandoned church, there exists terrible secrets and a past to be reckoned with. Complete the mission to unlock the new Exotic Kinetic Sword, Nephipyre.

Return to the Plaguelands.
Hidden in the Cosmodrome lies the true source of the SIVA outbreak, guarded by the most zealous and powerful Fallen Devil Splicers. Twelve Guardians will plumb the depths of the Perfection Complex to stop the threat at its source. Should they emerge victorious, they will return to the surface wielding powerful new weapons and armor forged from SIVA itself.

Once, the City factions fought each other. Now, they compete in Faction Rallies for the good of all, and for the first time, there's more going on beyond this event.
Rally to your favorite faction, then destroy enemy supplies, salvage rare treasures, and play Public Events, Crucible matches, Strikes, seasonal activities, and Raids in their name in this long-awaited revamp 8 years in the making.

Armor is great, but you know what else is great? Weapons. To celebrate the return of Faction Rallies, new offerings will be debuting with major upgrades, alongside returning spoils and the ultimate grand prize: the new VS Abyss Knightmare Marrow Auto Rifle. We’re thinking a Bloodsport Dissonance and Deathsong roll may be a bit of fun out there.

Rooted in Eclipse, Guardians will wield this new elemental power alongside the blessings of the Light, the overshadowing might of the Darkness, and the volatile omnipotence of Fusion, summoning epic supers to dominate the battlefield.
Titans and Meisters, Warlocks and Shinobi, and Hunters, Huntresses, and Huntsmen each use Marrow in a different way, from paralyzing foes with bloodbending fields to draining and disembodying enemies with destructive might.
MASTER OF ARMS

Grow your collection among the stars and forge your arms in the Last City. Every journey and every Guardian is unique. Your weapon should be too.
Master the new crafting system and create custom weaponry with unique combinations of mods, attachments, shaders, and advanced stat pools. When fighting a god, leave nothing on the table.
With the help of Micah-10, Guardians will recover Ishtar Academy secrets from Venus that allow the building of a device known as the Dawnforge.
Once operational, Micah-10 will safeguard the Dawnforge within the H.E.L.M., granting Guardians the ability to create Swordweave.
Swordweave unlocks the power to turn any piece of weapon schematic into a Blueprint Weapon.
A BATTLE JUNKIE'S ARSENAL

The road before you is adorned with Exotic and Legendary rewards. Travel it bravely and when the time comes, Voldor will learn that power alone does not define a Guardian's victory.
In The Villainess, Annual Pass owners will gain access to a variety of all-new and reprised weapons, armor, and gear in preparation to do battle with the Darksteel Brood and anyone who would dare to threaten the Last City.

They are alone on the dance floor because Hunters are busy flexing on lowly noobs as Yuuma Amano, and Warlocks can’t stop bragging about their girlfriends as Issei Hyoudou. And this is all possible thanks to the new Destiny 2 x High School DxD collaboration!
